Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Ofori scooped the Player of the Match award when Moreirense faced Famalicao in their second league game of the season on Monday night.
The 25-year-old was handed a starting berth against his former side and played out one of his best games in the 0-0 stalemate away from home.
Ofori played as part of a double pivot in a 4-2-3-1 formation for Moreirense and controlled affairs for his side in the middle of the park ensuring his team was never found wanting.
Despite picking up a yellow card, the Ghanaian was up to the task with regards to what was expected of him and played the entire duration of the encounter.
Ofori completed two out of three dribble attempts, claimed a 92% pass accuracy and completed seven of his eight long ball attempted.
