Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng was on target for the first time this season as IF Elfsborg continued their lead at the top of the Swedish league table.
Boateng scored his first goal of the season in the 3-0 win over Brommapjkarna on Sunday afternoon to keep his side in the race for the league title.
The former Aduana Football Club player started the game on Sunday and opened the scoring in the 76th minute of the game before Jalal Abdulai and Simon Hedlund also got on the scoresheet to make it 3-0.
The goal was the midfielder’s first of the 2023 season coming in his 19th appearance. Boateng also has two assists to his name this campaign.
