Ghanaian striker William Opoku Mensah was the man of the match on his maiden league game for Mukura Victory as they went away to draw goalless with Marines FC.
The talented forward whose International Transfer Certificate arrived earlier this week was handed a starting berth by coach Rodolfo Zapata at the Umuganda Stadium in Gisenyi and he was up to the task with a breathtaking display.
Opoku operated as a number 10 just behind fellow Ghanaian Abdul Rahman Muniru and his ability to create space, open up the defence as well as track back when needed was magnificent.
He was officially awarded the Primus man of the match for his great effort and he will remain key to the fortunes if Mukura Victory as the season progresses.
