In-form Ghana striker, Daniel Kofi Kyereh scored again in the Bundesliga 2 for FC St. Pauli at home to FC Heidenheim on Sunday.
The Ghana attacker netted twice on his St. Pauli debut last week against VFL Bochum on the road and picked up from where he left off against Heidenheim.
After 26 minutes of the match, the former SV Wehen marksman exchanged passes with teammate Rico Benatelli before hammering home the first goal of the match from just outside the box.
Patrick Schmidt scored an own goal after 34 minutes to double the home team’s lead and making the score 2-0.
Just few seconds after the break, Jannes Wieckhoff scored a world-class goal to put the game beyond the visitors in front of the ecstatic home fans.
At 3-0, the hosts were cruising to a comfortable win and Maximilian Dittgen added to fourth goal to make it 4-0 with 20 minutes left on the clock.
Eight minutes later, Christian Küelhwetter got a consolation for the visitors before Tobias Mohr’s goal reduced the deficit to two.
In the last ten minutes the game was played on a high level and full of energy as the away team tried to provide one of the best comebacks in the Bundesliga 2 history.
St. Pauli held on despite the pressure to win the game by 4-2 to top of the German second-tier league after two games with four points.
