Ghanaian internationals Jordan Ayew and Kudus Mohammed have garnered recognition as two of the top ten dribblers in the ongoing 2023/24 English Premier League season.
Kudus Mohammed, who made the move from Ajax to West Ham in the summer transfer window, secured the 10th spot by completing 28 successful dribbles. Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew claimed the eighth position with 31 completed dribbles this season.
Kudus shares the same successful dribbles as Middlesbrough’s Marcus Tavernier, yet Tavernier edges ahead with an impressive success rate of 56 percent.
Since joining West Ham, Kudus Mohammed, at 23, has played a pivotal role in the team’s domestic and European campaigns, contributing seven goals across all competitions.
Jordan Ayew, though not prolific in front of goal this season, has made significant contributions to Crystal Palace, showcasing an average of 1.9 dribbles per game at the age of 31.
At the summit of the dribbling hierarchy is another player of Ghanaian descent, Jeremy Doku, who has completed an impressive 44 dribbles this season.
Doku, born in Belgium to Ghanaian parents, has injected dynamism into the attacking wings of Pep Guardiola’s team since his transfer from French side Rennes, earning recognition for his eye-catching performances.
