Ghanaian defender Samuel Amoako has officially joined United Arab Emirates (UAE) side Dubai City FC after concluding his tenure with Al-Dhara FC.
The 23-year-old has signed a one-year contract and is expected to play a significant role in the upcoming season. His move to City FC comes on the heels of impressive performances that helped Al-Dhara achieve promotion last term.
Amoako was instrumental in Al-Dhara’s success, making 25 appearances and contributing to their second-place finish in the UAE Second Division, which secured their promotion to the UAE First Division League.
“Welcome Samuel Amoako from Ghana as our new signing! With a solid background from Ghanaian clubs like Charity Stars FC and Vision FC, Samuel has proven his skills on the field. Last season, he played a key role in securing promotion for his UAE 2nd Division team. His rock-solid defense is just what we need to strengthen our squad,” the club announced on social media.
With his valuable experience, Amoako is poised to be a key asset for Dubai City FC as they aim to make an impact this season. Prior to his move abroad, he showcased his talents with Charity Stars FC and Vision FC in Ghana.
