Ghanaian center-back Marcel Appiah has completed a move to German fourth-tier outfit VfB Oldenburg on a permanent deal.
The 33-year-old has a lot of experience in the German lower-tier leagues, playing for the likes of Arminia Bielefeld and VfL Osnabrück in the third tier.
Appiah joined the club on a free transfer. Although the details of his deal are sketchy, he is expected to bring his experience to the team.
Appiah began his career at the Schalke youth team and has moved to several teams in Germany. He has also featured in USA and Netherlands.
The Germany-born defender has never featured for the Black Stars.
