On Sunday, Kasim Nuhu Adams, the Ghanaian national team player on loan from Hoffenheim, received a red card in the Swiss Super League match against FC Zurich, leading to a disappointing afternoon for him.
Although he was given a starting position in the critical match at St. Jakob-Park, he was unable to play for the entire match due to his ejection.
In the 85th minute, the 27-year-old was sent off after receiving his second yellow card of the game.
In addition to Adams, Wouter Burger and Taulant Xhaka of FC Basel were also sent off in the match, while Mirlind Kryeziu was sent off for FC Zurich.
FC Zurich won the week 32 fixture 2-0 on FC Basel’s home turf, with goals from Roko Simic and Ifeanyi Matthew securing the three points.
