Ghanaian attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi is on cloud nine after joining Germany Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen from England Premiership side Chelsea FC.
The Ghanaian forward has moved to the Black and Red outfits from the Blues on Tuesday, August 30 as reported earlier by Sportsworldghana.com.
He has signed a season long loan deal with the UEFA Champions League team and will be at the club till summer 2023.
Hudson-Odoi joined the club for the remainder of the season with the teams failing to reach agreement on permanent purchase option.
He’s been very limited with game time since Thomas Tuchel took over as the manager of the club but was part of the team that won the 2021 UEFA Champions League trophy against Chelsea.
He had a decent start and game time at the start of the 2021-22 season but fell off the pecking order after suffering injuries.
In search of game time ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year, the forward who is yet to make a decision on his proposed nationality switch to play for Black Stars wants to be in good shape before November.
