Ghanaian striker Abdul Basit Khalid is pleased following his Tunisian Ligue 1 triumph with Esperance.
The talented forward was signed by the Tunisian giants in January this year and played a good role as they won the 2020/2021 Ligue 1 title.
Basit pointed out that he enjoyed the half season he played though it was not smooth in a new arena.
“The season has been good so far by grace , despite its ups and downs , adapting to a new environment and league takes time especially joining in the middle season.” Basit told sportsworldghana.com
“I feel great,it’s every footballers dream to win league titles and I am happy having done that with Esperance in my first season.”
Basit is expected will be very vital in attack for Esperance as they seek to complete a double by winning the CAF Champions League.
