Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo, has vowed to put youth football in Ghana at the highest level should he be assigned to any of the youth national teams coaching job.
The ‘dribbling magician’ as affectionately known says he deserves to be a coach for any of the national youth teams, considering his vast knowledge in the game.
According to him, he has the potential and qualities of searching for top talents as well as building a formidable team to excel at any major tournament.
His comment comes in the back of the Black Satellites poor display at the just ended African U-20 Nations Cup in Niger, where Ghana failed to reach the semis and also failed to qualify for the FIFA-20 World in Poland.
“Ghana will be at the highest level in Youth football if I’m given any National Youth Team assignment”, said Polo in an interview with Ashh FM in Kumasi.
Mohammed Polo, was a member of the Black Stars team that played in the finals of the 1978 AFCON under the late Coach Osama Duodu.
