Ghana’s Black Meteors Coach Ibrahim Tanko has handed a starting berth to Fortuna Dussedorf striker Bernard Tekpeyey, Udinese defender Nicholas Opoku and Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashereru in a more attacking minded formation against Algeria in the first leg of the U23 final Afcon qualifier double header clash.
Kwame Baah starts in posts for the Ghanaian side with Kingsley Fobi and Gideon Mensah operating from the lateral defence.
Meanwhile, Udiense defender Nicholas Opoku will partner Berekum Chelsea’s Zakaria Fusieni in central defence.
Marshaling the midfield will be Majeed Ashemeru and Osman Bukari while Joseph Painstil and Yaw Yeboah will operate from the flanks.
Bernard Tekpetey and Dauda Mohammed will spearhead the attack.
