Ghana International striker, Kwesi Okyere Wriedt was on target for Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday evening against FC Utrecht.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian Center-forward scored his side’s second goal in their 3-2 loss on the road to the strong Utrecht side.
Sander Van Der Streek Struck to put Utrecht in the lead in the first after just four minutes of action before Sven Van Beek scored an own goal to make it 2-0 to Utrecht.
After the break, Sebastian Holmen reduced the deficit to one but Gyrano Kerk scored to restore the home team’s two-goal advantage on the 68th-minute mark.
Eight minutes from full time, Okyere Wriedt scored the visitors second to set up a grand style finish to the game but this was not enough to secure a point for his team as they suffered 3-2 on the road.
Okyere Wriedt has seven goals and assist in the Dutch Eredivisie this season.
