The Koforidua Youth Resource Centre achieved a historic milestone, standing as the first among the ten multi-purpose Youth Resource Centres commissioned.
President Nana Akufo-Addo led the commissioning on December 27, accompanied by notable figures including Minister of Youth and Sports Mustapha Ussif, NYA CEO Pius Enam Hadzide, and GFA President Kurt Okraku.
The inauguration of this state-of-the-art center marks a significant leap forward in providing vital facilities for the youth. With a contemporary gymnasium, counseling center, IT hub, entrepreneurship facility, and a modern restaurant, the center embodies a commitment to nurturing both physical and intellectual development.
In a quote during the commissioning, Pius Enam Hadzide emphasized, “The facility you see here is not mainly a sports complex. We must fully appreciate its worth and essence to us and therefore acknowledge the government’s unwavering dedication to developing the potentials of Ghanaian youth.”
