West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC have appointed Spanish trainer William Zaragoza as the new head coach for the club.
The Spaniard has started training with WAFA team ahead of the 2021-22 season asa replacement for Dr. Prosper Ogum as coach of the Sogakope-based club.
He will steer the affairs of the club as the head of the technical department and will be in charge of last season’s second runner-ups in the league for the 2021/22 campaign.
This comes after Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum left to join Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC on a two-year deal.
The Spaniard tactician’s mandate is that, he will be expected to keep the club in the league and place a good position in the upcoming season.
WAFA will travel on the opening day of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season to face Kumasi King Faisal FC.
