Bechem United FC suffered their fourth defeat of the season at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem on Sunday afternoon.
The Hunters were beaten in their back yard by the Lions in the Ghana Premier League week six clash to make it just two wins and four and four defeats for the hosts.
Bechem were coming into the game after losing their last game against Karela United FC away at the CAM park in Anyinase last weekend.
However, the Hunters had won their last two home games in the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League giant campaign against Kotoku Royals and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
Nonetheless, the in-form Accra Lions team recorded a narrow 1-0 win over the Hunters through Fredrick Asante’s goal just before the half time whistle.
Lions have won five straight games in the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League and are top of the league table after six games with 15 points.
