Gregg Berhalter, the head coach for the senior national team of the United States of America has commended Ghana for their fighting spirit in their friendly in Nashville two days ago.
The gaffer heaped praises on the Ghana team despite beating them 4-0 in the FIFA International friendly game.
According to the coach, Ghana could have given up and show no interest in the game after they went down by four goals in the opening 45 minutes of the match one-sided game.
“Being down four nothing at half time, Ghana had a choice; they could have mailed in the second half and could have lost eight nothing but they didn’t do that.”
“They kept fighting till the last minute of the game. They didn’t play a great half but they didn’t give up and that’s an important quality that a team shows.”
Ghana conceded six goals in two matches against the El Tricolor of Mexico and United States of America in two friendlies in the United States of America.
