Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah is full of excitement after playing his 100th league game for Columbus Crew.
Mensah has officially played 100 matches for Columbus Crew after featuring in his side’s 2-1 victory over Atlanta United.
Mensah has been involved in every match for Crew in the 2020 season and was on top form during his team’s well-fought victory.
The 30-year-old joined Crew back in the 2017 season and has since made 97 starts in the 100 of his appearances while netting three goals and providing three assists in the process.
The Black & Gold captain took to social media to express his happiness for achieving the historic feat.
”Good to have made my 100th appearance for @ColumbusCrewSC and in a city I call home. Also fitting that I played every minute of the regular season. All the Glory to God. Now unto the playoffs.”Mensah wrote on Twitter.
