France-based Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku has been called up by Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar.
The defender has been called-up for the game in Antananarivo when Ghana takes on the minnows in the round five of the qualifiers.
He’s been out of action for Ghana for a while and has been brought back to the team by the new head coach for the game.
The Black Stars Coach has selected a 24-player group for the trip to Antananarivo on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
