Ghanaian defender Najeeb Yakubu who can play on both the defence and attacking flanks, has sealed a move to FC Prishtina in Kosovo in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old footballer born in Ghana on May 1, 2000, who currently holds a Niger passport, after the confirmation of his visa by The Kosovar authorities, will soon join the club’ club.
Yakubu is in the build-up with the Niger National Team where he will defend their country’s colours in the Africa Cup qualifiers.
“Hello, I can’t wait to meet you after the national break. I hope to see you soon,” he said in a video posted by the club.
Pristina’s newest transfer has recently been part of the Ukrainian championship, playing for the famous club, Vorskla Poltava, where he has played 60 matches.
After the war in Ukraine began he was loaned to the Ilves team of finalda.
