Former Ghana star Albert Adomah scored a later winner for Queens Park Rangers as they beat Coventry City FC 2-1 in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Adomah’s second goal of the season gave QPR a well deserved ate 2-1 win to boost their hopesaas they push for promotion from the Championship to the big boys leaguer, the Premiership.
Andre Gray scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after just six minutes after he connected with Chris Willock’s fine pass.
Five minutes back on the field from the break, Jordan Shipley netted the equalizer for the home team with 40 minutes left to fight for the winning goal.
The former Ghana international rose highest inside the box to head home Chris Willock’s cross in the 88th minute to seal a fourth straight win for the west London side.
QPR are now two points behind second-placed Bournemouth with a game in hand.
The 34-year-old has played 18 matches this season and has two goals and two assists to his credit.
