Former Asante Kotoko winger Joseph Amoako has secured a move to Georgian outfit FC Samtredia on a three-year contract with an option to extend for another year.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian forward joins as a free agent after a brief stint with United Arab Emirates side TFA Dubai.
Amoako, who parted ways with Kotoko in August 2023, passed his mandatory medical on Monday and has now put pen to paper on a new deal.
The winger is expected to play a significant role for FC Samtredia in the upcoming campaign as they aim to make a meaningful impact.
Before joining TFA Dubai, Amoako had spent a season-long loan at Swedish club Helsingborgs IF, making nine appearances in the Allsvenskan before the team suffered relegation after the 2022/23 season.
Amoako will be hoping to make an instant impact at FC Samtredia, and with his pace and skill, he could prove to be a valuable addition to the team.
