Ghanaian international goalkeeper, Felix Annan has officially announced his departure from Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko after 10 years of dedicated services at the club.
He joined the Porcupine Warriors as a teenager in 2011 from Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord, now West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC.
Due to his stallar display and excellent service at the club, Annan was appointed the captain of the Red and Whites outfit after Amos Frimpong’s departure.
“In the last couple of weeks, I gave been engaged in very emotional conversation with Management and the Board of Directors concerning my future.”
“After several consultations, it was resolved that my desire to continue my career path elsewhere after 10 years of dedicated service to Asante Kotoko be respected by all involved”, he stated.
“I thank His Msjesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Board and Management, the technical team, the playing body, the fans and the entire Kotoko fratenit6for the support throughout my years with the greatest club in Ghana”, he acknowledged.
“I will forever cherish my time with the family. Long live Asante Kotoko. Fabulous! Kum Apem a Apem Beba!!!!”
The 26-year-old was the third choice goalkeeper for Ghana’s Black Stars for sometime and is believed to be eyeing a move abroad.
