Swiss Superleague side FC Luzern are on the heels of Portuguese attacker of Ghanaian parentage Asumah Abubakar Ankrah.
Asumah has been topnotch for Kriens in the Swiss Challenge League this season netting fourteen goals and providing six assists in 31 games.
The exploits of the 23-year-old attacker has already caught the attention of Grasshoppers and English Premiership promotion chasers Brentford but the latest club to join the race for his signature is Luzern.
SPORTSworldGhana.com understands Luzern manager Fabio Celestini has already sent scouts to watch Asumah and he has received positive reports about him which has ignited his desire to make a swoop this summer.
An official bid from the “Luminaries” is expected in the coming days as they seek to beat competition from other interested clubs.
Asumah has just one-year left on his Kriens contract with his release clause being pegged at 500,000 Euros.
