German Bundesliga 2 side VFL Bochum have released talented central defender Maxwell Gyamfi after three years together, SportsworldGhana.com can exclusively report.
The budding centre-back who stands at 1.90 joined Bochum in the summer of 2017 from Hombruch and progressed through their under 17 and 19 teams.

Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that despite playing a key role in the Bochum youth team this ended season, the 20-year-old did not agree to a contract renewal and decided to leave as he seeks a new avenue.
Born to Ghanaian parents in the German city of Dortmund, Gyamfi started his career with Borussia Dortmund and also featured for Schalke 04.
He is yet to be capped by either Germany or Ghana at any level.
