Trapani have begun talks with fellow Serie B side Benevento over Ghanaian full-back Bright Gyamfi.
The Maroons are in desperate need of a right-back and manager Fabrizio Castori has identified Gyamfi as the ideal choice.
SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively reveal that officials of both club’s met at a residence in Benevento on Tuesday and Trapani have been given the go ahead to bid for the overlapping defender.
Gyamfi’s contract with the “Sorcerers” ends on June 30, 2022 and his buy-out clause has been pegged at 300,000 Euros.
The Ghanaian is not in the plans of manager Filipo Inzaghi as he has just made two Second-tier appearance this season.
