Stade Rennes gave begun talks with Strasbourg over the possible transfer of Ghanaian international Alexander Djiku.
Rennes have been busy so far in the transfer market by signing Loïc Badé, Kamaldeen Sulemana as well as Birger Meling and they have now switched their attention to the Ghanaian guardsman.
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that official talks between Rennes and Strasbourg on Djiku commenced on Wednesday July, 22 and he could move for a fee around 5 Million Euros.
Djiku who has two more years on his Strasbourg contract was a pillar at the back for his club last season and was nominated for player of the year award.
