Rwandan powerhouse AS Kigali are interested in signing Kumasi Asante Kotoko earmarked striker Steven Mukwala from Ugandan outfit URA Kampala.
According to exclusive reports reaching sportsworldghana.com from Kigali, the technical team of the Rwandan giants are looking for a striker to partner their newly acquired Ghanaian forward Robert Sabah and they are considering signing Mukwala.
The 22-year-old was the top scorer in the Ugandan Premier League last season with sixteen goals and he has already attracted the attention of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Talks between officials of AS Kigali and URA are expected to commence soon as they seek to sign Mukwala.
His current contract with URA expires next year.
