Ghanaian star Kwadwo Asamoah has emerged as a transfer target of Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade in the impending January 2021 transfer window.
The experienced lateral defender is currently a free agent after ending his stint with Inter Milan two months ago and he could be heading to Belgrade.
A report by Serbian news outlet Zmaj indicates that Red Star manager Dejan Stankovic is interested in Asamoah as he seeks to sign him in order to solve his side’s left-back frailties.
Stankovic, an Inter Milan legend is said to have received good remarks from the Inter technical team on Asamoah which includes his ability to play in midfield also.
Aside Red Star, Galatasaray, Montreal Impact, and Udinese are also keeping a close eye on him.
