Ghanaian international Mohammed Abu has signed a new two-year deal with American second tier club San Antonio FC.
Abu joined the Texas based club on an initial five-month contract in July this year but he has now extended it until November 30, 2023.
The left-footed holding midfielder played eighteen games for the club this ended season as they finished third on the league log and his output greatly impressed manager Alen Marcina.
The 30-year-old enforcer has played for a host of clubs including Stromsgodset, Frankfurt and Lorient.
