Ghanaian youngster Ernest Boahene has been handed a new deal by French Ligue 1 side Metz.
The current contract of the 21-year-old expires next week and sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that he has been given a fresh two years extension.
The talented right-back joined Metz from Ghanaian second division side Rainbow FC in December last year and featured prominently in the Metz youth team though he made one appearance for the senior side in the League Cup.
Boahene is represented by renowned French agent Fabien Piveteau who formally handled Michael Essien.
