French Ligue 1 side Metz are in negotiations to offer Ghanaian international John Boye a new contract.
Boye’s contract with Metz expires on June 30, 2021 and despite wanting a new two-year deal, the club wants to offer him just a year because of his age.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that talks between the two parties has reached an advanced stage and if any good offer does not come from outside, Boye will accept the one year deal.
Boye, 34, was a pillar at the back for Metz last season as he played 35 league games scoring one goa.
