English born Ghanaian midfielder Hiram Kwarteng Boateng will stay at Cambridge United for another five months.
The League 2 side acquired Boateng last June in a six months loan deal from MK Don’s but the deal has been extended as the former Crystal Palace enforcer keeps impressing.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that Cambridge and MK Dons reached an agreement for extension after the technical team of the fourth tier side stated in their end of year report that they need the player.
Boateng is currently nursing an elbow injury but had already made ten League 2 appearances.
He is expected to return to training by first week in February.
