Asante Kotoko have agreed personal terms with midfielder Emmanuel Antwi, according to the club’s former spox, Obed Acheampong (Sir Obed).
Antwi, 24, has seen out his contract with Great Olympics after the season ended and will join the Porcupines as a free agent should the deal go through.
Kotoko have identified him as a player who can solidify their team ahead of the new season and will join as a direct replacement for Richmond Lamptey who has communicated his desire to leave the Kumasi-based club to seek for other opportunities.
Antwi had a descent campaign but it was not enough as Great Olympics suffered demotion to the Division One League.
He made 26 appearances, scoring six goals and providing five assists across the period, winning multiple MVP awards.
