Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko goal poacher, Ahmed Toure has praised himself for his striking potency saying a team has no worries when they’ve him to spearhead their attack.
He says once a club get confident in him capture his signature to lead their attack, then obviously goals are always guaranteed for the success of the club.
Toure, made this statement after his new club ASEC Mimosa had an emphatic 4-3 goal aggregate qualification at home over counterparts Befouled De Bogue of Benin in the CAF Confederations League, having been held in a one all draw away in the first league.
The former Bechem United striker scored two goals for Asec Mimosas when engineered their qualification to the next phase of the CAF organized completion.
He however thanked the fans of ASEC for the massive support they channeled towards the team in its tough double header against Bafouled De Bogue.
“We all know how difficult it is for a club to participate in either the CAF Confederations Cup or Africa Champions League, not to talk of securing a point through the enchantments of its supporters. So I really dish my hearts out to each and every one of them (supporters) for their support,” he said.
The Burkinabe international scored in both legs for the Abidjan based club.
“I’m well-armed and very potent on goal this time around than ever, talk of form guide,” Toure told Kumasi based Angel FM.
Toure added boastfully ‘’That’s why if you’ve a player like Ahmed Toure in your team you’ve no reasons to worry, because l can conjure any magic at all on the turf in any slim chance given, provided the match hasn’t ended,”
Toure, has been on a scintillating form since joining the Ivorian giants in November 2017, scoring 7 goals six[ 6] matches.
