The last three seasons have not been good at all for Ghana defender Daniel Amartey following series of injuries that rendered him inactive for the last three years but his manager Brendan Rodgers has not forgotten about him.
This season Amartey has appeared in 14 games in all events for his team.
When you a football player and you return from injuries and you are not Gerard Pique or Sergio Ramos – chances are that you may never be the same player and at worst you end up at the exit door but at Leicester City Amartey is gradually getting the necessary minutes he needs after the long period of not playing.
The Ghanaian has been involved in all 7 games of the team managed by Rodgers. If he does not start , he come off the bench to play some part and that is the sort of support he is receiving from his manager.
He started alongside Soyuncu at Burnley on Wednesday night as Leicester drew 1-1 are 3rd on the league table.
