Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Twumasi has completed a move to Polish top-flight club Piast Gliwice, signing a two-year contract with an option for a further year.
Twumasi joins the Blue and Reds after spending nearly seven years in the United States with FC Dallas, where he made over 100 appearances in Major League Soccer (MLS). Known for his versatility, pace, and defensive awareness, the 27-year-old brings valuable experience to the Ekstraklasa side.
His arrival is expected to bolster Piast Gliwice’s backline as they prepare for the upcoming season. The move also marks Twumasi’s first venture into European club football after developing and establishing himself in the MLS.
The club will hope his American top-tier experience translates into solid performances in Poland as they push for a stronger league campaign.
