In a thrilling encounter against CSM Satu, Mensah exhibited his goal-scoring finesse by netting his eighth goal in just 10 appearances, further solidifying his impact on the team.
Mensah’s pivotal moment came in the 35th minute when he calmly converted a penalty, equalizing the score after his precise pass resulted in a foul against his teammate within the 18-yard box. This response nullified Moussa Samake’s earlier header for CSM Satu, who had initially taken the lead in the 10th minute following a well-executed corner.
Empowered by Mensah’s goal, CSM Sighetu maintained their momentum in the second half. The turning point arrived three minutes after Catalin Sofroni entered the game in the 67th minute, as CSM Sighetu seized the lead.
