The Porcupine Warriors’ deputy captain has less than four weeks left in his contract as talks are ongoing for the winger to extend his stay.
Gyamfi renewed his current contract by two years in June 2019 which will run out on May 31 this year.
The salary agreed on back then was GH¢ 2,000 and GH¢80,000 signing on fee which split to GH¢40,000 each year.

Meanwhile, the amount the player is demanding remains unknown but the reason behind what might be a significant increment is that the current Asante Kotoko management has decided not to pay a signing-on fee.
Scoring his first goal this season in a 2-1 defeat to Medeama, the winger continued his season’s resurgence with a man-of-the-match performance in a 1-0 victory over Legon Cities last Saturday.
