Genk enforcer Elisha Owusu is pleased with his partnership with Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe in the heart of the Gent midfield.
The duo were in their elements on Monday night as Gent walloped Royal Excel Mouscron by four goals to nothing in the Belgian Pro Jupiler League and he has praised their combination.
“It is indeed a strong combination. It really is a world of difference with Vadis there. We may still have many offensive players, but you also have to be able to reach them. It’s nice to see that things are running better.” Owusu stated after the game
“I was looking forward to it, that’s true. You saw the real Elisha. I wanted to help the team as best I could and I succeeded today. I felt good and it was also good to gain the confidence of the coach and the club. I need playing minutes and I keep working hard to get back to my top physically. ” He added.
The 23-year-old holding midfielder was playing his first game for the side in two weeks after been sidelined due to Coronavirus.
