Eleven Wonders manager, Ignatius Osei Fosu, claims his side were tactically better in their slim defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak on Friday.
Kojo Obeng Junior chanced upon a failed backward header to camly tap in the only goal in the match as Samuel Boadu’s side picked all three points at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking after the game, Osei Fosu, mentioned that Eleven Wonders had a better game but only gifted Hearts of Oak a goal in the slim loss.
“I think tactically we beat them. The were only ballooning the ball, they did not pass from first half to second half. I felt Hearts of Oak was possessive team, the coach keep talking about he possessing but we never saw that thing…But it is just that we gave away a goal” he said after game
He, however, was not pleased with center referee Latif Adaari’s decision of not awarding the host an obvious penalty after a ball hit the hand of Hearts defender, Robert Addo Sowah.
“ I talked about referee taking the shine away. From where I was sitting and from the replay I saw from StarTimes, that was a penalty on any day and I am surprised that a FIFA referee of that caliber did not see it.”
