Dreams FC have bolstered their defense with the signing of left-back Christian Owusu from Techiman Liberty Youth FC on a four-year deal.
The 25-year-old defender has joined the Ghana Premier League outfit and is expected to play a crucial role for the team in the upcoming season.
The club announced the signing on their official social media handle, stating: “Dreams FC are pleased to announce the signing of Christian Owusu. The left-back joins the Believers from Techiman Liberty Youth FC. Christian Owusu signed a contract that will run until 2028.”
Owusu was a standout performer for Techiman Liberty Youth in the recently concluded Division One League campaign, and his impressive displays caught the attention of several clubs. However, he chose to join Dreams FC, hoping to make an impact in the Ghana Premier League.
The Still Believe lads struggled in the Ghana Premier League last season, finishing 9th, but they had a good run in the CAF Confederation Cup, reaching the semifinals. The new season is expected to start in September, and Dreams FC will be looking to improve on their performance and challenge for a higher finish in the league.
With Owusu’s addition, Dreams FC’s squad is shaping up to be stronger than ever, and fans are eager to see what the new season holds for the club.
