After Asante Kotoko’s recent Ghana Premier League draw with Bechem United, midfielder Sheriff Mohammed acknowledges the mounting pressure on the club.
The game saw Peter Acquah scoring his first goal for the Porcupine Warriors, but Augustine Okrah’s goal for Bechem United ultimately leveled the score.
Looking ahead to their upcoming away game against Nsoatreman FC on matchday eight, Sheriff emphasized the team’s commitment to securing a victory.
He stated, “Drawing against Bechem United puts pressure on us. We travel to face Nsoatreman in our next Ghana Premier League game, and we have no excuse other than to win the match on Thursday.”
Currently occupying the seventh position on the league table with 10 points, Asante Kotoko is determined to bounce back strongly in their upcoming match against the league leaders.
