Former Accra Lions winger Daniel Awuni has completed a move to Serbian club FK Čukarički, GHANAsoccernet.com reports.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian signed a four-year contract with Čukarički after parting ways with Norwegian side Sarpsborg 08. He had joined the Norwegian club on a short-term deal following an impressive season in the Ghana Premier League.
During his brief stint with Sarpsborg 08, Awuni showcased his attacking prowess, netting two goals for the club. He is now expected to play a significant role in Čukarički’s ongoing campaign. However, the club has yet to officially unveil him, despite securing his signature a few days ago.
Awuni made his senior debut for Accra Lions in the 2021/22 season, scoring twice in 26 league appearances. Before moving abroad, he amassed six goals in 58 matches over two seasons in the Ghana Premier League.
As he embarks on this new chapter in Serbia, the talented winger will be looking to make an impact and continue his development at FK Čukarički.
