FC Zurich Head of Sports, Marinko Jurendic, has described newly signed Ghana forward Daniel Afriyie Barniel as a dynamic and versatile attacker.
His comment comes following the Swiss Super League side’s capture of the Caf U-20 AFCON winner on Tuesday, 2nd January, 2023.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup player, joins FC Zurich until the summer of 2026 from Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer.
He says: “Daniel Afriyie is a dynamic and versatile attacking player who has a courageous style of play. He should take the next step in development at FCZ and give our game further opportunities forward.”
