Ghana Premier League side, Obuasi Ashantigold SC have officially confirmed the extension of contract by their midfielder, Stephen Owusu Banahene.
The Miners revealed that the Santasi-based midfielder have extended his contract at the club till 2026.
Owusu Banahene joined the Yellow and Blacks in the second transfer window in the Ghana Premier League in March and have agreed to prolong his stay at the club.
The midfielder has played five games this season in the ongoing 2020-21 domestic top-flight season for the Obuasi team.
He also featured in the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 clash between the Miners and the Insha Allah Boys in Techiman where he won the Man-Of-The-Match after his team beat the King Faisal lads 1-0 to make it through to the round of 32.
