Former Hearts of Oak forward Charles Taylor, has revealed that supporters of the club send him threatening messages when ever he express his frustrations and displeasure about management of the club.
The former Kotoko talisman, has come under pressure recently for describing Hearts of Oak board member Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, claiming he is capable of collapsing the club with his archaic ideas.
However, the club has defended the “revered” Board Member in a statement and cautioned former players of the club to desist from making uncomplimentary remarks about the 2000 Caf Champions League winners’ top officials.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based FOX FM, Charles Taylor disclosed that Hearts of Oak supporters have always bombarded him with lots of backlash and threats when journalists contact him for his thoughts about the current state of the capital-based club.
“Whenever my view is sorted on matters relating to Hearts, I receive a lot of threats and backlash from the supporters. Surprisingly it is always the reversal anytime I criticize Kotoko. I think it’s borne out of hatred the supporters of Hearts have for me. the former Hearts of Oak forward told FOX FM.
“It was through the platform of Hearts of Oak that I have gotten to this stage, I am always disturbed when I see the club sinking,” he added.
Charles Taylor won African Champions League and Super Cup plus three Ghana Premier League titles with the Phobians, before sealing a then-record move to bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in 2003.
