Ghanaian promising forward Charles Sagoe Jr has expressed his excitement after signing a new long-term deal with Arsenal.
Ghanaian football talent has committed his future with the Gunners, signing a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 2027.
This is an exciting development for both the player and the club, as Sagoe Jr has shown great promise in his career so far.
To continue his development and gain more first-team experience, Sagoe Jr has joined Shrewsbury Town F.C. on a season-long loan.
This move will provide him with valuable playing time and the opportunity to further hone his skills
The 20-year-old announced the news on his official X page, writing, “Thank you God. I’m delighted to have signed a new long term deal @Arsenal the hard work continues!”
The versatile forward also gained valuable first-team experience with a loan spell at Swansea City last season. Additionally, he was named among the substitutes for Arsenal’s Premier League win against Burnley and their UEFA Champions League triumph over Sevilla in November 2023.
Sagoe remains eligible to both Ghana and England at the senior national levels.
