Ghana’s Black Meteors striker Emmanuel Yeboah was named Man-Of-The-Match in his first game at the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship in Morocco on Sunday, June 25 in Rabat.
The super substitute scored twice and provided an assist for Ghana’s Black Meteors in their opening game of the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship in a narrow win.
Yeboah set up Denmark Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland attacker Ernest Nuamah five minutes from the break after he took over from captain Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in the 46th minute mark.
He later grabbed brace to help Ghana’s Olympic team get off to a good start with a hard earned 3-2 win against a tough Congo Brazzaville team.
Congo Brazzaville scored two late goals to scare Ghana but Meteors held on to win 3-2 ahead of Tuesday’s clash against Morocco.
