The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the officiating team for the crucial Group C clash between Ghana and Tanzania in the ongoing TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2024.
Tunisian referee Dorsaf Ganouati will oversee the high-pressure encounter, which could determine which of the two teams advances to the quarterfinal stage. She will be supported by assistant referees Houda Afine, also from Tunisia, and Guinea’s Mmahawa Kourouma. Algeria’s Ghada Mehat will serve as the fourth official.
CAF has also appointed Sainabou Cham from The Gambia as Match Commissioner, while Fatou Gaye of Senegal will act as the Referee Assessor. Media responsibilities will be handled by Sinethemba Purity Mbatha of South Africa.
The decisive match is set for Monday, July 14, 2025, at 19:00 GMT at the Stade Municipal de Berkane. With both Ghana and Tanzania tied on one point after two games, the winner will stand a strong chance of qualifying for the knockout round, either as a runner-up or one of the best third-placed teams.
